The second leg matches of the first round of the qualification for the UEFA Women's European Cup 2026/27 have been completed.
In this round, three Ukrainian teams participated. Kharkiv advanced to the next round, while Sisters Odesa and Kolos Kovalivka were eliminated from the tournament.
Kharkiv defeated the team Mitrovica from Kosovo (5:0) and progressed to the second round. The first match ended in a draw (0:0). The second leg took place at Kharkiv's home ground in Skopje, North Macedonia. Goals were scored by: Viktoria Hirin (brace), Daria Apanashchenko, Olha Basanska, Tamila Khimich.
Norwegian Rosenborg thrashed the club Sisters from Odesa (3:0). The first game ended in a victory for the Sisters team (1:0). The return match was held at Koteng Arena in Trondheim, Norway. Rosenborg scored three goals and knocked the Odesa team out of the tournament.
Kolos from Kovalivka lost the home leg to Portuguese Torrense (1:3) and exited the tournament. The first match ended with a score of 6:1 in favor of Torrense. The second leg took place in Stalova Volya, Poland. After conceding twice, Kolos pulled one back through Dayana Semkiv's effort in the 67th minute, but then the opponents scored for the third time.
On September 4 at 16:00 in Nyon, Switzerland, the draw for Q2, the second round of the European Cup, will take place, featuring Kharkiv.
