Fedorchuk assessed Yermakov's form and explained his call-up to the Ukrainian national team
The famous coach Oleg Fedorchuk commented on the call-up of the goalkeeper of "Kharkiv" Georgiy Yermakov to the Ukrainian national team for the UEFA Nations League matches.
In an exclusive interview with the "UF" website, the specialist noted that the goalkeeper should strengthen the competition in the national team. At the same time, in his opinion, during his time at "Oleksandriya," Yermakov was in better form.
"Yermakov was called up for competition and backup, he is also a good goalkeeper. However, if we compare him with his own standards from the time of Oleksandriya, then he was probably in better form back then than he is now at FC Kharkiv," Fedorchuk said.
Assessing other goalkeepers in Andrea Maldera's squad, the coach highlighted the stable form of Dmytro Riznyk and pointed out the lack of regular playing practice for Anatoliy Trubin at Benfica.
