Midfielder of "Bukovyna": We played not the football we know

Midfielder of "Bukovyna" Vitaliy Dakhnovskyi commented on the defeat to "Kharkiv" (0:2) in the 7th round of the UPL.

– We really played very poorly. We didn't play the football we know how to play, and we made a lot of childish mistakes, so we lost today.

– Everyone expected a more open match. It was expected to be a back-and-forth game, but it didn't happen.

– I think they analyzed us well, we analyzed them well, in principle. We are playing quite well in defense in the Premier League now, but we are lacking a bit in attack – either in skill or luck. Because there are moments that we should already be scoring – but the ball just won't go in.

But I think if we continue to work in that direction and create as many chances, the goals will definitely come.

– Saliuk plays against you, a power move, and then you concede a goal. Do you also comment on these moments?

– Yes, I remember that moment. I think if I had taken a step forward, we would have finished the match with a man advantage. And then I didn't see how it happened. Or rather, I saw, but didn't fully realize, because I got up – and my head spun a bit.

– Everyone sees how much "Bukovyna" attacks overall in matches, shoots a lot on goal, one of the leaders this season. But they only scored in 2 out of 7 matches – it's some kind of paradox.

– It's a paradox for us too. We analyze, dissect, train a lot on attack. Everything works out in training, we score a lot of goals. But when it comes to the game – after our games, all goalkeepers can be called up to the Ukrainian national team.
