Preview
Today is the quintessence of the season for "Metalist 1925".
After the match, it will be known whether the team has accomplished its season goal or not. Whether "Metalist 1925" will return to the UPL or not. This is the second part of the two-match confrontation against "Levyi Bereh". The game will again take place at the "Levyi Bereh" Arena, and it is quite likely that when you read this text, only a few tickets will remain on sale - or there may be none at all.
The first match took place just three days ago. Its fate was decided by Ari Moura's single accurate strike in the first half. But now it's the second part of the confrontation, and next season in the UPL will be played by the team that proves to be stronger based on the results of the two matches.
In the first game, players from "Metalist 1925" - Kravets and Churko - were forced to leave the field due to injuries. The condition of both will be assessed today, and then it will be clear whether they will be included in the match squad.
Interestingly, in away matches this season, "Left Bank" has not scored more than one goal since September, and the last five away games in a row the "storks" have lost. On the other hand, the current status of an "away" match for them is more of a formality.
But in reality, no extra words are needed. Everything is clear before this match. Therefore:

Historical background:
FC "Left Bank" was founded in 2017. Initially, the focus was on developing the academy. In 2020, the club's senior team debuted in the Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship. By the summer of 2021, the team made its debut at the professional level, defeating "LNZ" in the opening match of the Second League. That season was not completed due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. However, at the time of the championship suspension, "Left Bank" held the second position in the league table.
The first season after the invasion, "Left Bank" missed. However, in January, the club decided to continue competing in professional football, so they started participating in the First League matches.
At the end of the 2023/2024 season, "Left Bank" finished in third place in the second division of Ukrainian football. This gave them the right to play in the play-offs for the right to compete in the UPL against the 14th team in the elite - "Obolon". The "Brewers" won the first match 1-0, and the second ended in a draw 1-1. However, at the start of this season, another opportunity for promotion appeared - the "tournament of four", in which "Left Bank" also emerged victorious, defeating "Metalist 1925" in the semi-finals in a series of post-match penalties.
