Ілля Крупський: "Ми добре додали після пропущеного голу"

Ilya Krupsky: "We responded well after conceding a goal"

Defender of "Metalist 1925" Ilya Krupsky shared his emotions after a dramatic loss to "LNZ" in the 10th round of the UPL in a flash interview for UPL TV:

Ilya, maybe you want to say something right away, what emotions are you feeling inside, because you spoke with Mladen Bartulovich, I understand that the disappointment is very strong?

Yes, the emotions are such that I don't want to say anything extra, we will just move on, draw conclusions and analyze what was lacking. That's it, I won't say anything more.

How much did this incident disrupt the end of the match and disorient the team?

Certainly. We didn't allow the opponent to create anything, they never reached our goal, and then just such a goal... The opponent played long passes all the time, we knew they would play like that. I repeat: we didn't let them do anything, but we conceded such a goal that shouldn't have been conceded, unfortunately. Nothing, there's no need to hang our heads, we need to move on. There are important and tough matches ahead for us as well. We understand that everyone is preparing very seriously against us, so every match will be very difficult for us.

In your opinion, could that long pass from the opponent's goalkeeper that resulted in a goal have been intercepted at all, could this situation have been saved, or was it already difficult to do something?

Of course, it could have been. I believe that we responded well after conceding the goal, and when we scored that goal... I just don't understand if there are any side cameras in the UPL that can look at the line. If the referee raises the flag there, then why, if we have VAR, we don't have side cameras showing the goal line to look at. The same thing happened with "Kudrivka" - the same situation. How can we watch a camera from the center of the field? How can it show from there whether the ball went out of bounds or not. He may be mistaken, he may not see it, but if VAR was created for this, then please, let's make some side cameras to make it easier for everyone to decide such issues. Emotions are just that, I don't want to say anything extra right now.

Ahead are the next matches, what's the plan? What did Mladen tell you in the locker room?

To be maximally focused on each game and not to hang our heads. He also said not to put ourselves down mentally right now, because soon we have a game against "Agrobusiness" in the Cup, and then a good match with "Polissya" here in Zhytomyr. So now we just need to move forward and earn our points.
