Everything that the head coach of "Metalist 1925" Mladen Bartulovich said at the press conference after the victorious match against "Dynamo":
— We are very happy - the whole team, the entire club. This is the first victory in the history of the club over "Dynamo". It was a very difficult match, especially its beginning. But we endured it, fought as a team on the field. In the second half, I believe, we leveled the game, made substitutions, scored a goal, and won.
— There was an early substitution of Baptiste in the first half. Can you comment on that?
— I understood that "Dynamo" would start the match actively. But I didn't think it would be so difficult for us in the first few minutes. I put Kauana in this match so that he could feel what it's like to play against giants like "Dynamo" or "Shakhtar". It's a completely different level and pace that you need to get used to. After the substitution, we leveled the game a bit and started to look better.
— There was a lot of talk before the match about the defensive midfielder position. How do you rate Pavlyuk's performance in this position?
— We tried him there in a friendly match against "Obolonnia", and he played very well. Today he also worked well. He can play in this position - it's a good option for us. We are satisfied with his performance.
— Did you think about the league table before the match, considering that with the unplayed match against "Veres" you could surpass today's opponents?
— We take it one match at a time. Ahead is the very important completion of the match against "Veres", we are preparing for it. We will look at the table at the end of the season.
— The match against "Dynamo" marks the start of a very busy schedule of games for the team. What are your expectations?
— Every match will be difficult because all opponents are pursuing their goals. "Veres", then "Kudrivka", then the cup - we need to be fully focused in every game. I need all players ready, I will have to rotate the squad because we play every three to four days. It will be tough without that.
