FC Kharkiv has done extensive work in the summer transfer market. Some signings have already received positive feedback from fans, while others still need to prove their worth on the football field. We suggest analyzing the club's transfer campaign in detail and evaluating its prospects.
Departures: p Lytvynenko, z Kapinus, p Moura, p Churko, z Snurnitsyn, p Kalitvintsev, v Mozil
Arrivals: n Parako, p Profini, v Yermakov, z Smoliakov, p Yatsyk
Key players: Kaliuzhnyi, Itodo, Shabanov, Yermakov
Summary: another club that is developing rapidly. Like a bulldozer. A club that seems to care not about the price, but only about desire or a sense of necessity. And it has been like this for several years.
The initial steps of "Kharkiv" in the transfer market were ambiguous, with a bunch of strange signings, most of which are no longer with the club, but some can still be found with surprise. For example, Vladlen Yurchenko, for those who didn't know, is still somewhere in the sixth, probably, Kharkiv squad. It was a growth disease that almost everyone goes through - we have written about it more than once. This summer, in addition to Yurchenko, they said goodbye to almost everyone from that golden crop.
With the arrival of president Bohdan Boiko, there is more operational control, so transfers are becoming more effective, not just flashy. Last year, Kaliuzhnyi, Shabanov, Antyukh, Krupskyi, Pavliuk were successful, with Itodo playing a more significant role over time, and Rashytsia and Zabergja should also contribute. There are questions about Baptistella and Avelar, and Castillo, of course, but not all South Americans adapt quickly, and Baptistella is less than 20 years old, even at "Shakhtar" they give such players time. In the near future, we will be able to give a final assessment of these transfers.
This summer's acquisitions are even more quality, even more precise. The arrival of Yermakov closed the most delicate goalkeeper position, although Varakuta was not terrible overall. Yatsyk - about football intelligence and decision-making, he did well at "Zorya," but at "Dynamo," as often happens, it didn't work out. Profini - one of the best midfielders in the Argentine league. Parako - a top forward for the UPL, who scores and, most importantly, presses, works, and runs. Smoliakov will provide versatility and speed on the flank, as Krupskyi often played as a left-back.
Now it's D-day for Mladen Bartulovich. Always smiling Croatian, who almost perfectly speaks Ukrainian, evokes great sympathy. But sympathy cannot be forged into precious metal or hung around the neck. In professional sports, everything is measured by results. If last year Mladen had excuses: well, how can you win with Kalitvintsev and Churko in the center of the field, with the non-scoring Mba, with Lytvynenko or Kohut in the lineup, now the players have become of higher quality. Competition has emerged, rotation has appeared, players worth 2-4 million euros have appeared on almost all positions. Here, dear Mr. Mladen, you need to squeeze out the maximum. And if this kind and positive Croatian also grows in a strong team, this gang can easily compete for medals. And for some reason, there is even a thought that they can touch them. In our opinion, they are stronger than LNZ, and it is quite possible to compete with "Polissya" and "Dynamo," to the delight of all of Kharkiv and the numerous star ambassadors of the club - from Zhadan to Svitolina.
