The goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team Georgiy Yermakov, who moved from Maccabi Haifa to Kharkiv this summer, successfully debuted for the Kharkiv team in the first round match of the Ukrainian Premier League against Veres.
In his first official game for the new club, the 24-year-old goalkeeper kept the goal "dry", made 2 successful saves, and helped Kharkiv secure a minimal victory with a score of 1:0.
It is worth noting that in the 2024/25 season, Georgiy Yermakov became a silver medalist of the Ukrainian championship with Olexandriya and was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the Ukrainian Premier League. The goalkeeper also played for the Ukrainian U-23 national team at the 2024 Olympic Games and later participated in the 2025 European Youth Championship.
