Ilya Krupsky: "Physically hard to play against Veres in such heat"

The defender of "Kharkiv" Ilya Krupsky commented on his team's victory in the first round of the Ukrainian Football Championship.

On August 1, the Kharkiv team narrowly defeated "Veres". The only goal in the match was scored by Ramik Gadzhiev in the 90th minute of the game.

– Comment on today's game. How do you feel playing in such heat?

– Firstly, of course, it's a bit difficult to play in such heat, because as soon as you make two sprints, you immediately feel the heat taking its toll. But thank God we managed to score this important goal, after all, we won thanks to the victory. A good opponent, the opponent also showed character. Well, it's physically tough, but the main thing is that we won, got three points.

– What do you think of the newcomers - Smolyakov, Yermakov?

– Zhorik is great, he helped us today. A good goalkeeper, of a good level. We hope that now the newcomers will integrate into our team, we will help them. We have big tasks, so we want to achieve them as soon as possible.

– Kharkiv had 15 shots on goal and only 3 on target. Why do you think it's missing to be more accurate?

– As we joked after the match, we just need to aim not directly at the goalkeeper, but just slightly to the side, so the ball goes in.
