Officially. Dynamo legend joins the team
The new director of the children's and youth football school "Dynamo" Mykola Rozdobudko announced that former player of "Shakhtar" Serhiy Popov has joined "Dynamo".
"The coaching staff of the Dynamo football school has already been joined by coach Serhiy Popov, who previously worked as a coach of Shakhtar's second team and youth national teams of different ages in Ukraine," Rozdobudko said.
Popov has significant experience working with young football players. Previously, he coached various age categories of the Ukrainian national teams - U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, and U-20.
Serhiy Popov has also worked in the coaching staff of several clubs. He was an assistant coach at "Metalist", "Zorya", "Vorskla", and "Metalist 1925". Recently, the specialist worked in Kyrgyzstan, where he coached the clubs "Alga" and "Muras United".
