Oleg Krasnopyorov: "It was very important to start the season with a victory"

The head coach of the youth team "Kharkiv" Oleg Krasnopyorov - about debut, victory, and team work:

- Congratulations on the victory and successful start of the season. What are your emotions after the first official match?

- Emotions are definitely positive. First of all, I want to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to live in a free country and play football. I am also very grateful to my boys for their dedication. Despite the weather conditions, they showed character and did a lot of work. The most important thing is that we won against a good opponent, who was also slightly older than us. I think this is what makes this victory even more valuable and adds positive emotions to us.

- How satisfied are you with the team's performance today? Were you able to implement everything you planned before the match?

- There is always something to work on and strive for. Once again, I want to thank the boys for their dedication. There were moments when the team demonstrated very good football, but there were also episodes where the players were a bit nervous, which led to not always making the right decisions. This is a normal process. We will work on these moments, and I am confident that with each game, the boys will only improve.

- This is your first official match with the youth team "Kharkiv". What are your emotions from the debut and how important was it to start the season with a victory?

- I am very grateful to the boys for their work and dedication. It was extremely important for us to start the season with a victory, just like for the first team. We have tough opponents ahead of us, so we wanted to start well to prepare for the next matches with positive emotions. Victory always adds confidence, and this is very important at the beginning of the championship.
