Officially. Shakhtar extended the contract with a key player
Shakhtar, a UPL club, has announced on its official website a new contract for the main goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk. The player's contract expires in the middle of 2031.
Lately, there have been rumors of interest in the goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team from foreign clubs.
Riznyk joined Shakhtar in February 2023. Since then, he has played 118 official matches for the orange-and-black team, keeping a clean sheet in 55 of them.
Together with the club, the goalkeeper has become a three-time champion of Ukraine (2023, 2024, 2026) and has won two Ukrainian Cups (2024, 2025).
