«Гравець Шахтаря кричав на нашого тренера»: Гаджиєв про поразку Харкова, сутичку та слова президента

"Shakhtar player shouted at our coach": Hadzhiev on Kharkiv's defeat, clash and president's words

Kharkiv midfielder Ramik Hadzhiev in an exclusive interview with "UF" talked about the game with Shakhtar (0:1), an unpleasant incident, and the president's words.

21-year-old Kharkiv midfielder Ramik Hadzhiev returned to the starting lineup after an 11-month break. Interestingly, the last time he started was on September 13, 2025 - also against Shakhtar.

In an exclusive interview with the "Ukrainian Football" website, the midfielder commented on the bitter defeat to the Donetsk team, the altercation after the final whistle, evaluated his own performance on the field, and shared what the club president said in the dressing room.

"There is disappointment because we played a good match"

- Do you feel disappointed after this match? In your opinion, did the team deserve a better result?

- Of course, there is disappointment because today we played a good match. I believe we acted as the first number and controlled the game. At the beginning of the match, we made a mistake and allowed the opponent to score a goal. However, Shakhtar only created, perhaps, two or three moments to score throughout the match. We had more chances to score, including clear-cut opportunities, but luck was not on our side today. And, of course, it saddens me what happened after the game.

- Why were there such emotions after the final whistle?

- Because there was a certain lack of respect from the Shakhtar players towards our coaches and us. I believe it shouldn't be like that. We are two teams that played on the same field, so mutual respect should always remain. That's why now, of course, there are emotions, and we are a bit worked up.

- How did it all start?

- I'm not sure exactly. When I turned around, I saw that one of the Shakhtar players was shouting at our coach. I didn't understand how a player could shout at the coach, so I ran to sort it all out. And then the altercation started.

"There's nothing to worry about - the whole championship is ahead"

- Coaches usually emphasize the importance of the first minutes before the match. Did they emphasize this before the game?

- Of course, we talked about it, and everyone understands that at the beginning of the match, you need to act very carefully. It just happened that way today. But there's nothing to worry about - the whole championship is ahead. We will work on our mistakes, draw conclusions, and become better.

- How satisfied are you with your performance?

- It's unfortunate that I couldn't convert a clear-cut chance (in the 74th minute of the game, - ed. O.P.). The defender played excellently in that episode - he threw himself into the shot and blocked it (Valeriy Bondar, - ed. O.P.).

"The president thanked everyone for the game and said: everything will be fine for us"

- Kharkiv did score, but Itodo's goal was disallowed. Was there really an offside?

- I don't know, I haven't reviewed that moment yet.

- FC Kharkiv President Bohdan Boyko came to the dressing room after the match. What did he say to you?

- The president thanked everyone for the game. He said it was interesting and brought joy to the fans. He also wished us to continue in the same spirit and emphasized that everything will be fine for us.
