Vatsko: Bartulovich should lead "Kharkiv" to European competitions
Journalist Viktor Vatsko commented on the prospects of the head coach of "Kharkiv" Mladen Bartulovich and expectations from the team in the current season.
According to Vatsko, the composition of the Kharkiv club allows them to compete for a place among the leaders of the UPL, so this season the coaching staff will already be expected to deliver specific results.
"Bartulovich has received a very good team, a strong squad by UPL standards and considering the personnel situations in other championship clubs. Of course, this season Bartulovich will not be required to win the championship, but results will be expected, qualification for European competitions."
Vatsko believes that in terms of player selection, "Kharkiv" is among the top four strongest teams in the championship, so the final result of the season will be crucial for Bartulovich's future.
"He has no room for excuses because personnel-wise, "Kharkiv" is undoubtedly in the top 4 of the UPL, you understand? At the end of the season, there can't be any excuses. It will either be results or conclusions. What those conclusions will be, that's a question for the president," Vatsko said.
After three rounds of the new UPL season, "Kharkiv" has three points.
