Famous expert Oleg Salenko shared his thoughts on the start of Cherkasy LNZ and FC Kharkiv in the Ukrainian championship, pointing out the mistakes of the teams in the first rounds.
Former Dynamo Kyiv striker Oleg Salenko commented on LNZ's performance in the opening matches of the UPL, noting the push for form due to the club's participation in European competitions.
"Cherkasy team probably pushed their preparation due to European matches, which currently has a negative impact on their performance in the domestic arena. Although in the last match they confidently defeated Chornomorets. So let's see how it goes. But for some reason, I think LNZ won't be able to rise as high as they did last season," Salenko was quoted by Sport.ua.
Also, Oleg Anatoliyovych succinctly outlined the negative consequences of two defeats of Mladen Bartulovich's wards in the fight for top positions in the tournament.
"Kharkiv, despite a decent game, lost two matches in a row to competitors, which is already a big minus for the team."
