Sifuentes commented on his transfer to "Karpaty"
Left midfielder Joaquin Sifuentes commented on his transfer from Epicenter to Karpaty.
His words were conveyed by the press service of the Lviv club.
The 29-year-old Spaniard stated that he is happy with this transfer. He talked about the details of the negotiations and voiced his goals in the new team:
"I understand that this is a big challenge for me. Karpaty is a historic and important club in Ukraine. Everything happened very quickly, as both the club and I almost immediately reached an agreement. Both sides wanted me to be here, so I am very happy to join the team and have the opportunity to help them.
This season, I hope to score many goals, provide many assists, and most importantly, work hard for the team. I want our fans to always be with us, and we can give them the joy they deserve. I understand the strength of this team very well and I am very happy to be a part of it now."
According to insider information, the transfer fee for the winger was $300,000. The parties signed a contract for 2+1 scheme.
It is worth noting that Sifuentes has been playing in Ukraine since the summer of 2025. With Epicenter, he scored ten goals and provided six assists in 33 matches.
