Player of Kharkiv team died from electric shock
In Kharkiv region, the football player of FC "Zmiyiv" Ivan Zinchenko tragically died.
According to the preliminary information from the police and Lyubotyn city council, the unfortunate incident occurred during fishing at one of the reservoirs in Lyubotyn. Local media report this.
According to available information, the man was in the water, and while casting the fishing rod, the hook got caught on a wire that was under high voltage - approximately 10,000 volts. Ivan received a fatal electric shock, and he could not be saved.
Ivan was born in Lyubotyn and raised in the local children's and youth sports school. At the youth level, he played for KHTZ, "Kvadro Zlatopil," and "Rena Kharkiv." Later, he played for "Allyance Zhytnya Sllyoza," "Enerhetyk-Solonytsivka," "Hravirovka," FC "Zmiyiv," and MSK "Kharkiv." As part of MSK "Kharkiv," he participated in the Ukrainian Futsal Championship among First League teams and in the Ukrainian Cup.
The football player is survived by his wife and one-year-old child.
