The Ternopil team "Niva" has officially announced the signing of Ukrainian forward Vladyslav Bugay, who previously played for FC "Kharkiv" (then known as "Metalist 1925").
The 28-year-old forward joined the Ternopil team as a free agent after playing for the Polish club "Stal" Krasnik. The terms and duration of Bugay's contract with "Niva" are not disclosed.
Bugay is a product of Kyiv's "Dynamo." In Ukraine, the striker has represented "Bukovyna," "Mariupol," "Mykolaiv," "Chornomorets," "Lviv," "Zorya," as well as FC "Kharkiv".
Bugay played for the Kharkiv team in the 2023/24 season. After that, the footballer's career continued outside of Ukraine.
The striker's last club was "Stal" Krasnik from the fourth division of Poland, where he joined in March 2026. Bugay played 11 matches for the Polish team, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
After four rounds in the First League, "Niva" has accumulated five points and currently occupies the eighth position in the standings. The next match for Ternopil will be on August 22 against "Bukovyna" in the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup.
