В УПЛ створили протокол проведення матчів при затяжних тривогах

Protocol for conducting matches in the UPL in case of prolonged alarms

Due to prolonged air alarms, the holding of matches in the UPL in Ukraine is increasingly under threat. The league's press service reminded how the fate of interrupted matches is determined and when they can be continued. Decisions are made in accordance with the Competition Regulations and special safety rules during a state of war.

An example was the meeting of Zorya and Kharkiv. Due to a prolonged threat, the match was resumed the next day from the 51st minute. The match ended with a score of 0:3. Frequent and prolonged alarms complicate the work of teams, spectators, and broadcast organizers, so a clear procedure is necessary.

Algorithm for decision-making in conditions of air alarms during matches:

Alarm over 60 minutes: a meeting is held with the participation of the UAF delegate, the main referee, representatives of the teams, and the relevant military administration (if available).

Two or more alarms (totaling over 2 hours): the UAF delegate has the right to initiate a meeting at the request of one of the teams.

Decision-making process: the outcome of the meeting is recorded in the corresponding Decision Form.

Final verdict: based on the collected data, the UPL Directorate makes a decision regarding the date, time, and place of holding or completing the match.
