Odessa club Sisters lost to Rosenborg away and dropped out of the Europa League
On September 2 at 19:00, the match of the 1st qualifying round of the UEFA Women's European Cup 2026/27 took place.
In the game, the Norwegian team Rosenborg defeated the club Sisters from Odesa (3:0).
The rematch took place at the Koteng Arena in Trondheim, Norway. Rosenborg scored three goals and eliminated the Odesa team from the tournament (3:0).
The first game took place on August 26 at the Central Stadium in Nisporeni (Moldova) and ended with a victory for the Sisters team (1:0), with the only goal scored by Yana Kalinina in the 57th minute.
It is the debut season in European competitions for the Odesa club. The Sisters team earned the right to compete in the European Cup by finishing third in the mini-tournament of the 2nd round of Champions League qualification – a defeat against Sporting Lisbon (0:5) and a victory over Young Boys from Switzerland (3:1).
