Coefficient table. Israel moved up in the ranking and approached Ukraine

The Eurocups 2026/27 season is ongoing, with matches of the 1st round of the Europa League played.

Let's see how the coefficient table of 2027 has changed after the game week.

Ukraine is not represented in the Europa League, and this week there were no matches of Ukrainian clubs.

A week earlier, Shakhtar Donetsk started in the main round of the Champions League with a draw away against PSV Eindhoven (1:1).

Ukraine holds the 23rd position in the 5-year ranking (24.337)

Ukraine's coefficient for the season is 2.625 (26th place in the single-season ranking)

In the battle for the 23rd place, Israel (24.125) is closely approaching Ukraine (the gap is only 0.212).

Hapoel Be'er Sheva played a draw with Dynamo Zagreb (0:0) in the Europa League and added +0.250 to Israel's treasury.

In Slovenia, the club Celje lost away to Bayer Leverkusen (0:2) in the Europa League. In the neighboring countries, there is also one club each playing: Mjallby in Sweden in the CL, Universitatea Craiova in Romania in the CL, Sabah in the CL in Azerbaijan, Slovan Bratislava in the CL in Slovakia).

Croatia (25.906) surpassed Sweden (25.750) and reached the 20th place. Dinamo Zagreb played a draw in the EL with Hapoel B-S (0:0) and brought Croatia +0.250, while Hajduk Split will play in the Conference League. Czech Republic, keeping 4 clubs, caught up with Poland in the battle for the top-10 (45.125).

It is worth reminding that Ukraine's goal is not to fall below the 23rd place in the 5-year ranking of 2027 (assuming Russia remains disqualified), which will give the winner of the UPL 2027/28 the right to start in the Champions League 2028/29 not from the 1st qualifying round (Q1 CL), but directly from the 2nd (Q2 CL).

In the club ranking, Shakhtar shares the 30th place with Greek Olympiacos (57.250).
