Oleg Krasnopyorov - about emotions after a hard-fought victory before the break for national team matches

The match between the youth teams of "Kharkiv" and "Bukovyna" turned out to be extremely exhausting due to prolonged air alarms and lasted for almost six hours. The head coach of Kharkiv, Oleg Krasnopyorov, summed up this dramatic match, noting the resilience of his team and the complex realities of today.

— Congratulations on the victory! How do you assess the game?

— We played for a very long time because of the Russian occupiers who are bombing our country. Thanks to our Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that we still play and live in a free country. There were many good moments in the game, as well as not so good ones. I would like the boys to play a bit more calmly and confidently. They can, I believe in it and I know, but sometimes they get very nervous and make a lot of mistakes. I think if there weren't so many mistakes, the victories would be very calm. But probably the fans don't like that, so our boys keep everyone on their toes.

— The match started at 13:00 and ended only around 18:30 due to air alarms. How difficult was it for the team to maintain concentration in such conditions?

— Well, those are the conditions. We live in such conditions. And most importantly, we won't be broken, we will survive everything.

— What did you like most about the players' actions?

— The most important thing is that the game lasted about six hours, but despite this, they come out and play at a hundred percent. No one says they are tired.

— This is the last game before the break for national team matches. With what emotions does the team go on a break after such a victory?

— Winning is always pleasant. And I am grateful to the guys for the victory, for the fact that, so to speak, we will be preparing for the next round for three weeks and we will work with a good mood during these three weeks.
