Krupskyi shared his emotions after his debut for the Ukrainian national team

The defender of "Kharkiv" and debutant of the national team of Ukraine Ilya Krupsky shared his emotions and impressions after the first match as part of the country's main team.

- Ilya, first of all, congratulations on your debut for the national team of Ukraine! Tell us, when did you find out that you would start the game, and what were your emotions and excitement when you stepped onto the field?

— Thank you for the congratulations! I found out about three days before the match. As for emotions - only positive ones. Honestly, when I stepped onto the field and warm-up began, all the excitement completely disappeared, and I felt right at home.

— Do you know how Andrea Maldera commented on your debut? In short - "Bellissimo!". How do you feel about how well you performed?

— Well, after the coach's words - then definitely bellissimo! Thank you to him. I felt good. The team won, kept a clean sheet in defense - what could be better?

— What was happening in the dressing room after the game? After all, this is the first official match - especially for Andrea Maldera as the head of the national team.

— In the dressing room, everyone congratulated each other. The coach said, "Now you can hug and congratulate each other, but tomorrow we have to focus on the next matches." Today we celebrated, and next - maximum concentration on Georgia.

— This is definitely a memorable, historic match for you. Perhaps the toughest in your career?

— You could say so - the most responsible and the toughest.

— What will you keep as a memory after this game?

— The jersey, of course! As a keepsake.

— Have you already called your family or close ones?

— Not yet. I only wrote to my girlfriend, that's all for now.

— How would you rate your debut on a scale of one to ten?

— I think it's better for the fans to evaluate, I won't give myself a rating. If the head coach said bellissimo - let's stick with that (smiles).

In his debut match for the national team of Ukraine against Hungary, Ilya Krupsky played 59 minutes on the field before being substituted.
