The championship leader confidently unloaded five dry goals into the opponent's goal: Davydov scored a double, while Skotarenko, Chegurko, and Sydorenko added one goal each to their tally. However, the hosts were much more concerned after the match not with the crushing score on the scoreboard, but with a serious injury. In the middle of the second half, Zaporizhzhia midfielder Oleksiy Chernikov left the field on a stretcher after trying to save the team and was immediately hospitalized with a leg fracture.

29.09.2019. «Metalist 1925» 6:1 «Avangard» U-19. Friendly match.

Another friendly match took place at the training base in Vysokyi between «Metalist 1925» and Kharkiv's «Avangard» U-19. A week ago, the first sparring ended with a minimal victory for the first team with a score of 3:2. This time, Andriy Demchenko's wards achieved a much more confident victory - 6:1. Let's separately note the coaching staff's lineup experiments: two representatives of «Metalist Junior» Ivan Pets and Bronislav Otysko played for the main team in this game, as well as two Brazilian legionnaires who were on trial at the club at that time.

The guests secured a comfortable advantage during the match: on the 33rd minute, Lyubko opened the score, Nedolya doubled the lead two minutes later, and in the middle of the second half, Zhuravel made it a rout. The hosts could only respond towards the end of the match - on the 81st minute, Kondratiuk scored one goal, setting the final score of the game at 1:3.
