This day in the club's history - October 2
10/02/2023. SC "Dnipro-1" 1:0 "Metalist 1925". UPL, 9th round.
Our team had a tense match against "Dnipro-1", where the fate of the meeting was decided by a single goal. The game was extremely cautious and tactical. The hosts lost Igor Kogut due to a knee injury already in the 24th minute, and Emiliano Purita came on the field instead. It was the fresh legionnaire who contributed to the successful attack: in the 56th minute, Purita passed the ball in front of the penalty area to Bohdan Liedniev, who powerfully shot under the crossbar of our team's goal. This goal was the only one and brought victory to Dnipro with a score of 1:0.
