Vatsko: "Kharkiv" could not find a better Ukrainian goalkeeper than Yermakov

The famous commentator and sports journalist Viktor Vatsko highly praised the transfer of Georgiy Yermakov to Kharkiv.

"Georgiy Yermakov had such a standout season at Olexandriya that, at least for me, he became one of the strongest goalkeepers in the Ukrainian Premier League. And considering that he was called up to the Ukrainian national team, not only for me, but also for people who have a much better understanding of football.

I understand very well why Kharkiv was so persistent in trying to sign this goalkeeper.

In addition to his goalkeeping qualities, Yermakov stood out in Olexandriya for his quality and calm footwork. He was often a key figure for Ruslan Rotan's team when playing out from under the opponent's high press.

He was that extra outfield player who could help distribute the ball and maintain control, leaving no chance for the opponent to intercept.

He was very effective with the ball. Thanks to Yermakov, Olexandriya successfully played out of very serious, aggressive high pressing from opponents on numerous occasions.

Mladen Bartulovich adheres to similar principles in his football views and demands as Ruslan Rotan. Therefore, acquiring Yermakov is a very good reinforcement for Kharkiv.

I believe that in the current realities of the Ukrainian transfer market, Kharkiv could not find a stronger and more quality goalkeeper with a Ukrainian passport than Yermakov. Therefore, in my opinion, this is indeed a top transfer," Vatsko said.
