UAF reacts to the RF strike on Chornomorets stadium
The Ukrainian Football Association has released an official statement regarding the missile strike by the Russian Federation on the "Chornomorets" stadium in Odesa:
"The Russian missile strike damaged the 'Chornomorets' stadium in Odesa.
Around 3:00 PM, Russian forces carried out another missile strike on Odesa, targeting the port infrastructure and civilian areas. Among the damaged objects is the 'Chornomorets' stadium - an important part of the Ukrainian sports heritage, the home arena of FC 'Chornomorets' (Odesa), and the place where on November 11, 2021, the Ukrainian national football team played its last home match on home soil.
The destruction of sports infrastructure is yet another vivid evidence of Russian terror. A terrorist state that systematically destroys stadiums, training bases, and civilian objects has no right to be part of the international community of peaceful countries."
