Ukrainian Cup. Penalty shootout in the opening match, one game did not start
On August 8, the preliminary round of the Ukrainian Cup 2026/27 started during the day.

The qualification round takes place from August 8 to 12, 2026. 18 teams representing regional associations start from this stage.
The match between Chaika Vyshhorod and Kalynivka didn't start due to a prolonged air alarm, the game was rescheduled for another day.
Novyi Rozdil defeated Mykolaiv from Lviv region in a penalty shootout (0:0, pen. 4:2).
