This day in the club's history - September 22

09/22/2016. Viewing at "Metalist 1925".

On this day, the coaching staff and scouts of "Metalist 1925" held a large open viewing for potential newcomers. The event caused quite a stir: in two days, the club received over 500 applications, from which the coaches selected 60 candidates. After a series of friendly matches, the coaches identified the most promising boys who received invitations to the training process of the "Metalist 1925" and "Metalist Junior" teams.

09/22/2018. "Kolos" 0:0 "Metalist 1925". First League, 10th round.

In the first half, the guests had a slight advantage, but failed to convert it into goals - the only sharp episode was an inaccurate exit by Synytsia one-on-one. After the break, the game remained sluggish and fragmented into episodes. The blacksmiths were closest to success in the middle of the half: Kizilatesh shot through himself into the post, and the defenders and goalkeeper dealt with Bondarenko's follow-up. Even Terzi's sending off did not help the hosts, as the Kharkiv players reliably played in the minority. The result was a predictable goalless draw in a match with a minimum of goal moments.

09/22/2019. "Metalist 1925" 3:2 "Avangard U-19"

For the players who did not play in the main team against "Volyn" or received little playing time, a friendly match was organized with the "Avangard" team (U-19). The match took place in rainy weather and ended with a strong-willed victory for our team - 3:2. The heroes of the match were Brazilians: Dodo scored the first goal, and the potential newcomers of the club, who were on trial, completed a double.
