Will Ukraine make it to the elite of the Nations League? Statistics assessed the chances of the "blue-yellow"
The analytical portal Football Ranked has presented fresh calculations regarding the prospects of our national team in the Nations League and the fight for promotion.
According to analysts' forecasts, the Ukraine national team has a 47% chance of taking first place in their group, with overall chances of promotion to Division A estimated at 59%.
The main competitor of the Ukrainians in the race for leadership is considered to be the Hungary national team - their chances of winning the group are 34%, with a 46% chance of direct promotion to the elite. The positions of other opponents are significantly more modest: Georgia has 14% for first place (and 19% for promotion), while analysts give 5.4% probability for Northern Ireland to win the group and 7.6% for promotion to Division A.
