Mykola Pavlov talked about his long-standing connections with "Bukovyna"

The advisor to the president of FC Kharkiv Mykola Pavlov spoke with the press service of "Bukovyna" before the match between these teams in the 7th round of the UPL, in which Kharkiv won 2:0.

– What can you say about "Bukovyna"?

– Firstly, I have long-standing connections with "Bukovyna." You had a coach, Viktor Oleksandrovych Osadchuk. He was my coach in my career when I was playing at the youth level. Then, I will say that your sports director is Hryhoriy Churilov, with whom I worked at "Mariupol" - I have the best memories of working with him.

Moreover, you currently have two coaches working. The head coach and his assistant Kolya were also players in my career. Now I am very pleased to observe their work as coaches.

And honestly, I like how "Bukovyna" plays now. These are not just words. The penultimate match, when they played against "Epicenter" - that game in that round I liked the most. And I am very excited about today's game with our team because they have made a good impression on me with their recent games.

– What else connects you with Chernivtsi? Have you been to our city as a coach?

– I have visited. I remember a game in 1992. It was a tough game, we won 1:0. I remember Yuriy Maksymov played so well. He was injured, and I was afraid he wouldn't be able to play against "Bukovyna," but before the game, he told me: "Petrovych, I will try to play." And we played so well, I remember that victory.

I remember in 1972 we came for a tournament of labor reserves. I was still a player, we played there. And then in 1973, there was a game. For the first time in my life, I saw women's football in Chernivtsi, the stadium was full. It was in 1972, I remember everything. And what a wonderful city Chernivtsi is - everyone knows. A beautiful green city," Pavlov said.
