Representatives of "Kharkiv" entered the list of the best after the 4th round of the UPL
The Ukrainian Premier League continues to honor the heroes of the 2026/27 season and has compiled a symbolic team of the 4th round of the UPL Championship, as well as named the best player and best coach of the 4th round. Traditionally, this was done in collaboration with hosts, experts, UPL commentators, and representatives of leading sports media in Ukraine. This time there were 38 of them.
In the survey by UPL.TB, Vitaliy Volochay, Volodymyr Zverov, Bohdan Kostiuk, Oleksandr Kostiuk, Serhiy Lukyanenko, Pavlo Lukyanchuk, Vadym Skichko, Vitaliy Shalota, Vadym Shevyakin, and Dmytro Shpirko took part.
Journalists who voted included Ilya Bereza (Football.ua), Ihor Boyko, Vasyl Obaraz (both from "Maincast" / "UPL Evening"), Dmytro Vatras, Volodymyr Maidan (collectively from "Tribuna"), Daniil Vereitin ("Champion Radio"), Mykhailo Hema (Channel 24), Oleksandr Zolotogorsky (FootballHub), Eduard Kinzersky ("Sport-arena"), Oleksiy Klykov ("Sportarena"), Andriy Kovalsky (ICTV), Andriy Kostenko ("RBC-Ukraine"), Pavlo Kushneruk ("Brutal Football"), Andriy Pavlechko (NV), Andriy Piskun ("Ukrainian Football"), Oleksandr Popov ("Dynamo from Shurik"), Artem Rossinsky ("SportObzor"), Ihor Semyon (Ua-football), Serhiy Sytnyk ("Footboom"), Yevhen Sidash ("Dynamomania"), Mykhailo Smoloviy ("Ta To Take"), Valeriy Sokhan ("Autoradio"), Andriy Stolyarchuk ("Public Sports"), Andriy Todos ("Zorya Londonsk"), Anton Fedortsiv ("Glavkom"), Serhiy Tsyba (Sport.ua), Dmytro Chornobay (Sport-express.ua), Serhiy Shakhovets ("Champion"), Mykhailo Yukhymenko ("Football 24"), and Yevhen Yasenov ("Terrikon").
The best coach of the 4th round, according to the collective decision of the 38 experts, was recognized as Ruslan Rotania ("Polissya"), whose team defeated the reigning Ukrainian champion "Shakhtar" (2:0) in the central match of the round. 37 out of 38 experts included him in their surveys, with the majority (23) ranking him at number 1. He faced significant competition from Serhiy Shyshchenko ("Bukovyna"), who secured a victory over the Ukrainian Cup holder "Dynamo" (3:0). He was included in 34 surveys (ranked at number 1 in 13). Mladen Bartulovich ("Kharkiv"), who defeated "Zorya" 3:0 after their victory over "Polissya" in the previous round, closed the top 3.
The title of the best player of the 4th round was awarded to the central midfielder of "Epicenter" Artem Kozak, who made three assists in the match against "Kudrivka". This unique achievement, which has been recorded only 12 times in the 12 seasons of the UPL archived by Wyscout.
The top 3 of this ranking showed a high density of results, with the second place taken by the author of two goals Batun Zabergdja ("Kharkiv"), and the third by another author of two goals Vadym Sydun ("Epicenter"). The top 5 also included Oleg Kozhushko ("Bukovyna") and Leandro Andrade ("Polissya").
Overall, the experts mentioned 27 players and 7 coaches when determining the heroes of the 4th round, as well as 52 candidates for the symbolic team. Therefore, in addition to the 11 players in the hypothetical starting lineup, we traditionally added a hypothetical reserve of the round's symbolic team: Oleg Kudryk ("Polissya"), Andriy Busko ("Bukovyna"), Daniil Checher ("Veres"), Marian Farina ("Chornomorets"), Serhiy Chobotenko ("Polissya"), Petro Stasyuk ("Bukovyna"), Oleksandr Klymets ("Epicenter"), Vitaliy Hrusha ("Bukovyna"), Oleksandr Andriievskyi ("Polissya"), Vadym Vitenchuk ("Bukovyna"), Fellipe ("Karpaty"), Leandro Andrade ("Polissya"), Vitaliy Farasienko ("Chornomorets").
